AnnaMarie Burkhart, MSN, FNP-C

I have been a registered nurse since 2020 and recently earned my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in September 2025. My nursing career began at Children’s Mercy Hospital, where I worked as a pediatric critical care nurse in the Same Day Surgery and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. These experiences gave me a strong clinical foundation and shaped my commitment to safe, compassionate, and family-centered care.

My passion for holistic medicine comes not only from my professional experience but also from my own personal health journey. After navigating chronic stomach issues, I learned firsthand the importance of treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—rather than just symptoms. This perspective deeply influences the way I practice and motivates me to provide care that is both individualized and integrative.

I believe strongly in the power of preventive care, helping patients focus on lifestyle interventions to support long-term wellness. My goal is to partner with each patient to create a care plan that reflects their unique needs and values, empowering them to take an active role in their health journey.

To make care accessible, I offer both in-person visits and secure virtual appointments through a HIPAA-compliant app, allowing patients to connect with me by text, phone, or video. Whether working with children, adults, or families, I strive to provide a supportive environment where patients feel heard and truly cared for.

I look forward to working together on your health journey!
