How does it work?
1. These devices hook up straight to your faucet.
2. The water passes through an initial carbon filtration system where it removes harmful substances such as chlorine, mold, rust, and microplastics from your tap water.
3. Electrolysis: The filtered water now passes through eight medical-grade platinum dipped solid titanium electrolysis plates to convert the water into hydrogen rich, alkalized water. How? The plates use electricity to break down and restructure the water. This is important, as the water can now be easily absorbed and pass through the cell wall to effectively hydrate the body and flush out toxins.
What is Active Molecular Hydrogen Water?
Active Molecular Hydrogen Water is created using innovative ionization water technology through an on the counter kitchen appliance. Electrically enhancing your tap water, by producing ionized alkalized and acidic water through a process called electrolysis. These waters can be used for various purposes including drinking, cooking, beauty, and cleaning. These ionizer machines offer seven different PH levels of ionized water that can be used in over 60+ ways. The drinking water ranges from 8.5-9.5pH, depending on the type of water you select on the machine’s touch screen. Although there are many therapeutic benefits of drinking ionized water, the three key components are the high levels of active molecular hydrogen, the minerals it contains and the optimal hydration it offers.

Molecular Hydrogen or H2 is the smallest molecule on earth. A gas with unique antioxidant effects, it is made of two protons and two electrons. Unlike regular tap water, this hydrogen-rich water is rich in antioxidants, which are capable of fighting off various inflammatory conditions. Owning a machine
Enagic products are medical-grade and built to last. With proper care and maintenance, a Kangen machine can last around 25+ years. Below is an overview of care for the machines:
Monthly cleaning: This manual cleaning of the machine is a simple way to keep the machine in working order and running at its best. The K8 model walks you through the simple instructions with a quick set up followed by a three hour clean that the machine does itself.
Annual deep clean: Once a year it is strongly encouraged to send your machine into your closest Enagic office for a deep clean of the entire unit. This ensures the entire machine is being properly cleaned and inspected from the inside out. The base cost of this service is $50.
Filter replacement: Filters can last around a year depending on use. Replacement filters can be ordered through the company website. As of 2026 filters for the K8 model are $153. (Tip: filters go on sale twice a year typically in June and December).
